To me, painting is very spiritual, but not in a
religious way. It enables us to tap the very center of our beings, the source of all creativity, and allow our most personal images to emerge on canvas. It helps me connect with God
and reminds me of the celestial and mysterious creations of God. Art is a form
of expressing my self, a vehicle through which we can experience the nature of
humanity. Art enables me to imitate nature mystifying wonders. The talent to
see and capture the beauty of nature on canvas is a gift from God. Ultimately
art aims is to cultivate, enhance mind, body and soul thus allowing artist,
audience, and artwork to merge.
As
a child, I remember always being amazed by God’s creation which never ceases to
blow my mind, and want everyone to share a unique vision of nature, dreams
and wonder. Being able to take paint and brush to bring out this beauty on
canvas came naturally to me. So many of us take our surroundings for granted. It's hard to
imagine our world without trees or flowers. What will we give our love ones as a
token of our love? A rose is the most beautiful thing in the world, its colors
so vibrant, and the petals so soft. Hence, the reason why we should always take
time to appreciate what God has given us. My art reveals life using flamboyant
colors, which reflects my spirituality and a very influential
